Users can use Rockwell Automation's free integrated programming configuration software to program programmable safety relays. Integrated programming configuration software can shorten programming time and help users create, control, and monitor security systems using the same software environment as standard control, thereby improving productivity. The safety level of the Guardmaster 440C-CR30 programmable safety relay can reach PLe (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (IEC 62061), making it very suitable for applications that require the use of 4 to 9 safety circuits and control of up to 5 zones.
The integrated programming configuration software has drag and drop functions and a clear graphical user interface, which can guide users to select certified safety function blocks for programmable safety relays through a simple process. After programming, programmable safety relays can easily send diagnostic data to Allen Bradley Micro800 controllers, Allen Bradley PanelView graphics terminals, or Allen Bradley CompactLogix controllers using an embedded Modbus interface. By utilizing embedded communication functions and software, users can easily monitor and handle faults in their applications, and make quick modifications as needed, including executing local or conditional shutdowns. The five status LEDs and 16 user configurable LEDs on the programmable safety relay panel provide local diagnosis, providing further assistance for status reporting and fault handling.
The Guardmaster 440C-CR30 programmable safety relay has 22 built-in safety I/O points (including 6 configurable I/Os), making it perfect for applications that require multiple safety zones. Two standard Micro800 functional plug-in modules can also be used to expand it to support 16 additional standard I/O points, saving valuable I/O points for user safety systems without increasing the footprint of programmable safety relays.
