These features can be reflected in the controllers of the MicroLogix family and extend the online editing function. The MicroLogix 1100 compensates for the application of low-end controllers in certain situations, which require up to 80 digital I/O points.

The built-in RS-232/RS-485 port of the controller is used for serial and network communication, and the built-in EtherNet/IP port supports the transmission of Ethernet peer-to-peer information.
The built-in LCD screen of the controller can be used to monitor the status of the controller and I/O, as well as changes in integer and bit data.
