Bulletin 1797 FLEX Ex? Is the power supply FLEX Ex ControlNet? Power supply for Ex networks, communication adapters, I/O modules, fiber optic hubs, and intrinsically safe (IS) field devices. No other power supply is required to operate any components connected to the FLEX Ex system in hazardous areas. The power supply for valves, actuators, or transmitters comes from the FLEX Ex module.
