Expanded voltage range and application versatility brought by harsh environmental protection

The ACS255 frequency converter expands the voltage range of ABB IP20 micro frequency converters and provides a full voltage range of IP66 frequency converters, providing more solutions for basic applications. IP66 drives are very suitable for food and beverage applications, such as augers, mixers, conveyors, pumps, and fans, which are exposed to dust, moisture, and chemicals. The direct wiring in the IP20 model facilitates the replacement of panel mounted motor starters. The IP66 model comes with or without a front panel mounted operation control device: disconnect, speed potentiometer, and FWD-OFF-REV selector switch.
