ICS-1572A拥有两个16位ADC,以250MHz频率实现同步采样以及两个频率为500MHz的16位DAC。ADC输入通带为4.5到800MHz(3dB),实现欠采样应用。
Xilinx Virtex-6 LX240T FPGA可实现用户定义的信号处理功能,较前代具备更大的容量。另外还有其他Virtex-6设备供选择。Virtex-6设备拥有连接主机系统的PCI Express接口。可按需提供Serial RapidIO等其他协议。FPGA具备强大的信号处理能力,可实现宽带DDC、FFT和时间戳等标准功能或由用户根据自身的功能需求进行编程。

The E Intelligent Platform has launched the ICS-1572A ADC/DAC (Analog Digital Converter/Digital Analog Converter) transceiver XMC module, which strengthens the connection between the analog sensor field and the digital computing field and can be deployed in demanding radar, signal intelligence, communication, and testing and measurement applications. The new board has a 250MHz 16 bit data acquisition capability and an advanced Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA processor, providing excellent performance, low cost, efficiency, and compactness.
The ICS-1572A is developed on the basis of the leading digital receiver product family in the GE industry, and has numerous important customer advantages, including the ability to perform high-speed frequency scanning during spectral scanning, suitable for low-cost analog infrared devices, reducing the cost of system backend processing engines, facilitating the use of electronic "steering" instead of physical array steering, and the ability to use existing arrays for multiple purposes.
In addition, XMC encapsulation not only helps to achieve more compact solutions, but also improves the throughput of host memory, enabling the transmission of high-bandwidth signals for downstream processing. High sampling rate is beneficial for capturing higher transient bandwidth and meeting the high frequency coverage requirements of monitoring systems. The use of high-speed DDR3 memory allows for deep waveform storage and allows for interrupt latency caused by non real-time operating systems.

The current 16 bit solution is often constrained by frequencies below 200MHz, while the ICS-1572A has a speed of up to 250MHz. The ICS-1572A also uses Xilinx's next-generation FPGA, which has more powerful processing power compared to previous products and reduces the load on backend processing engines. These advantages, combined with the use of the latest ADC/DAC technology and flexible XMC packaging, will bring great appeal to many enterprises
The ICS-1572A has two 16 bit ADCs that achieve synchronous sampling at a frequency of 250MHz and two 16 bit DACs at a frequency of 500MHz. The ADC input passband is 4.5 to 800MHz (3dB), enabling undersampling applications.
Xilinx Virtex-6 LX240T FPGA can achieve user-defined signal processing functions, with greater capacity than previous generations. There are also other Virtex 6 devices available for selection. The Virtex 6 device has a PCI Express interface that connects to the host system. Other protocols such as Serial RapidIO can be provided as needed. FPGA has powerful signal processing capabilities, which can achieve standard functions such as broadband DDC, FFT, and timestamp, or be programmed by users according to their own functional requirements.
